The Grace Self Adhering Ice and Water Shield is a self-adhered, peel-and-stick substrate made of aggressive, rubberized asphalt adhesive. Designed for protection under various roofing materials such as slate, tile, cedar shakes, metal roofing, and conventional asphalt shingles. This roof underlayment ensures a robust defense against moisture and ice damage. The adhesive is backed by a cross-laminated, high-density polyethylene film, providing slip resistance and ease of application.

A foldless release paper covers the rubberized asphalt, protecting its adhesive properties and simplifying removal during installation for a strong bond to the roof deck. With a watertight seal that protects against harsh weather and high-quality sealing around nails, this underlayment provides reliable leak protection.
